Raimonds Tomsons

Raimonds Tomsons found his way into restaurant business in 1999 when he started at restaurant Vincents as an assistant waiter. Surrounded by the creativity and perfectionism of chef Martins Ritins he soon found his passion into wine.

In 2006 he became the Head-sommelier at restaurant Vincents.
In 2017 Raimonds became the Best Sommelier of Europe and Africa.
In 2018 Raimonds Tomsons set a new world record for opening champagne with the Sabrage method – 71 bottles in 60 Seconds.
In 2019 he won the 3rd place in competition the Best Sommelier of the World.

He has won the best sommelier of Latvia and Baltic’s for three times. Raimonds is also the winner of the competition Sommelier Trophee de Grand Jour de Champagne 2011.

Beside his work at Vincents, he is currently chairman of the board of the Latvian Sommelier association, which is also a member of the A.S.I. Association De La Sommellerie Internationale. In 2016 he acquired WSET Diploma in wine and spirits in the Austrian Wine academy in Rust, Burgenland.

Oskars Sprukts

Oskars Sprukts started his work at restaurant Vincents in 2011 as a trainee and has grown together with the restaurant all these years. Thanks to his diligence and determination, in 2018 he became the Chef of restaurant Vincents.

It is important for Oskars that his refined preparation of fine food can satisfy even the most exquisite cravings. He challenges his culinary skills every single day by making something new and original to surprise gourmets and create a desire to return and enjoy his masterpieces. In the cooking process, Oskars focuses on the quality of products to enhance the flavor and character of the dish.

The Chef of Vincents emphasizes that a specially selected wine can bring out the magical taste of the food, so he highlights the collaboration – not only with his team in the kitchen, but also with sommeliers.

Raimonds Tomsons

Raimonds Tomsons savu ceļu restorānu biznesā uzsāka 1999. gadā, kad sāka praktizēties restorānā Vincents par viesmīļa palīgu. Mārtiņa Rītiņa radošuma un perfekcionisma iespaidā, viņš ātri vien atrada savu kaislību vīna zinībās.
2006. gadā Raimonds kļuva par galveno restorāna Vincents vīnzini.
2017. gadā Raimonds triumfēja A.S.I. Eiropas & Āfrikas vīnziņu čempionātā, iegūstot 1. vietu.
2018. gadā uzstāda jaunu pasaules rekordu šampanieša atvēršanā ar Sabrage metodi – 71 pudele 60 sekundēs.
2019. gadā izcīnīja 3. vietu konkursā “Best Sommelier of the World”.

Raimonds ir trīskārtējs Latvijas un trīskārtējs Baltijas vīnziņu čempionātu uzvarētājs, Eiropas “Trophy Grand Champagne 2011” ieguvējs.

Paralēli darba pienākumiem Vincentā, Raimonds Tomsons ir Latvijas Vīnziņu asociācijas valdes loceklis. Latvijas vīnziņu asociācija ir starptautiskās vīnziņu asociācijas A.S.I. biedrs. 2016.gada pavasarī Raimonds Tomsons ir absolvējis studijas Austrijas Vīna un stipro alkoholu akadēmijā Rustā, WSET diploma programmā.

Oskars Sprukts

Oskars Sprukts savas darba gaitas restorānā Vincents uzsāka 2011. gadā kā praktikants, un visus šos gadus ir audzis kopā ar restorānu. Pateicoties savai uzcītībai un mērķtiecībai, 2018. gadā viņš kļuva par restorāna šefpavāru.

Oskaram ir svarīgi, lai viņa pagatavotā maltīte spētu apmierināt pat visizmeklētākās garšas kārpiņas. Ikdienā viņš sevi izaicina gatavojot kaut ko jaunu un nebijušu, lai pārsteigtu gardēžus un radītu vēlmi atgriezties un baudīt viņa kulināros meistardarbus. Gatavošanas procesā Oskars lielāko uzmanību pievērš tieši produktu kvalitātei, kas parāda ēdienu garšas un īpašības.

Vincents šefpavārs uzsver, ka ēdiena burvību var izcelt ar piemērotu vīnu, tāpēc viņš īpaši akcentē sadarbību – ne tikai ar savu komandu virtuvē, bet arī ar vīnziņiem.

Vincents wine list is created by our manager and head sommelier Raimonds Tomsons together with his ambitious and young sommelier team – Roberts Brencens and Linda Karpenko.
It reflects wines from the classic terroirs of Europe made in a very traditional manner and also alternative wines from new and exciting wine regions made with low-intervention. We believe that these wines perfectly complement and underline the very pure, unique and high quality products used in the cuisine of our Chef, Oskars Sprukts.
Great wine lists are not necessarily the extensive ones but those which carry a special philosophy and idea behind them and the teamwork of the Chef and Sommeliers.

We have gathered our experience and respect for wine through visiting many wine regions and we would love to share it with you!

BANQUETS

Since its founding in 1994, Vincents has catered thousands of banquets. We can organize a banquet for a couple in a private residence or a party of 200 people.

Each venue chosen outside the restaurant will be decorated according to your instructions and the style of the event. We offer specially drawn up menu for each event. It can be a wedding, office opening, anniversary celebration, soiree or lunch at your office.
